You’ve Been Fixing the Wrong Thing
You’ve rebuilt it twice. Same result. And you’re starting to wonder if the problem is actually you.
I spent years watching other people build lives I wanted and convincing myself they had access to something I didn’t. Some gift, some advantage, some version of faith or clarity or confidence that just hadn’t found me yet. It took me a long time to realize the only thing standing between me and that life was the story I had never once stopped to question.
Not my circumstances. Not my past. Not any of the things I spent years pointing at as the reason. The program running in the back of my mind, the one I inherited before I was old enough to know I could reject it, had been quietly running my life, and I had never once sat down to examine it. When I finally did, when I actually looked at what I had been scripting on repeat for years, I understood why I kept getting the same results. I was feeding my brain the same input and expecting a different output. That’s not a strategy problem. That’s a program problem.
And here’s what I know now: the program can be rewritten. Any time you decide to.
Why You Keep Getting the Same Results
You’ve rebuilt the offer. Rewritten the content. Shown up consistently and done all the work, and it still isn’t converting the way it should. So you go back to the funnel. Tweak the copy. Wonder if it’s the niche or the messaging or whether you need a completely different strategy altogether.
Here’s what nobody says out loud: you cannot build a business that outpaces what you actually believe about yourself. The strategy isn’t the ceiling. The belief system running underneath the strategy is. Until you examine that program, where it came from, who wrote it, and whether any of it is even true, you will keep rebuilding the same thing with a different name on it, and the results will feel identical every single time.
3 Ways to Start Rewriting It
1. Stop scripting what’s wrong. Most of us are journaling our problems — writing down what’s hard, what isn’t working, what we’re afraid of, and then wondering why we keep producing more of it. Your brain doesn’t distinguish between what you write to process and what you write as intention. It treats both as instruction and builds your reality from exactly that material. Start paying attention to what you’re feeding it daily because the output will always match the input.
2. Feel the version you’re building toward, not the version you’re in. You can write the goal a hundred times and still be emotionally anchored to the version of yourself who doesn’t have it yet. Think about this — if someone says the word lemon right now, your mouth reacts. You didn’t bite into anything. Your brain created the experience from the word alone. That’s the same mechanism. When you generate the actual feeling of already living what you’re building toward, your brain receives it as real and starts working from that reality instead of the one you’re currently standing in. Emotions are energy in motion. You get to choose which direction you send them.
3. Become the version before the proof arrives. The woman who has the business that converts, who makes decisions without spiraling, who walks into a room knowing her worth, she is already making different choices than the version of you who feels stuck right now. You don’t wait for the results to become her. You make the choices she would make today, with what you have, and the results follow. You have to become the thing before the thing comes to you. That’s the piece most of us were never taught and the one that changes everything when it finally lands.
Scripture for the Soul
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” — Proverbs 23:7
This isn’t just a comforting verse; it’s a mirror. You are not what you say you want to be — you are what you actually believe in the deep, quiet places of your heart’s dwelling. Everything we desire starts within. Who does God say you are? Do your thoughts, your beliefs, and your daily choices align with that truth or with what this world has told you to expect? The foundation has already been laid. The question is whether we’re building on it.
Points to Ponder
- What belief about your own capacity did you inherit from the people who raised you, and have you ever actually stopped to examine whether it’s true?
- Where in your business are you continuing to fix the strategy when the real block is something you believe about yourself?
- If the version of you who already has what you’re building walked in right now, what would she do differently today?
The Foundation Matters More Than the Framework
Most of the women I work with are stuck at the intersection of both — the belief is off, and the business has no real infrastructure underneath it either. Built backwards, strategy before soul, offer before clarity, visibility before foundation. The Freedom Framework is a 5-day self-guided clarity reset that walks you through cutting the complexity, getting clear on your one core offer, and designing a business model built to support your actual life. You walk away with a 90-day action plan rooted in clarity, alignment, and a strategy you can actually sustain.
