E03 – 3: Fakers Faking It vs. Makers Making It

Podcast

In this episode, Rachel and Erin discuss the difference between fakers faking it and makers making it. Often you will hear people telling you to fake it until you make it, but really you should be making it until you make it! If you are continually faking it, people will start to question your integrity. Instead of faking it, try VAT: vulnerability, authenticity, and transparency. You will actually connect more with people when you are keeping it real. At the end of the day, if you are faking your own personality, you will eventually lose yourself along the way. Then, Rachel and Erin explain why no one is faultless when they first start trying something new and why you should not have to hide that fact. Enjoy the show!
